Plot Setup

Prof. Chronus lost her bolt cutter, and so can't get into Wesley's locker (to retrieve the cursed letter!). But the players have learned that that principal keeps a master combo for all locks. It turns out that the paper he writes them on goes back through 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, etc. - all the way to 1987. Unfortunately, Chronos is in 1986. Players need to decode the pattern to figure out the master combo to send to Chronos.

Props

After the players send back the combo info to Chronus, they should be rewarded with a video of present-day Doctor When putting a letter into young When's locker. And then after he sneaks off, Chronos sneaks in and steals the letter out of young When's locker before he can read it.

We may also need a video of the time stream 1 version of the "Science Fair Incident." This one would show that they've eliminated Prof. Chronus's science fair trauma (but not quite tipping the hand that they've returned everything to time stream 1--although that may be obvious).

Plot Point to Convey

After this event, Chronos can get into the locker (for whatever mysterious reason she needs to do so).

Short Description

Teams need to figure out the master locker combo from the principal's notes.

Detailed Description

The teams have discovered that the principal keeps the master locker combo in his office. They go to his office and find - lo and behold - a list of locker combos hidden away. However, the combination changes each year, and the list only goes back to 1987! Undaunted, the players figure out the pattern, and deduce what the 1986 locker combo was, and convey this to Prof. Chronus.

How To Give To Teams

GC member at principal's office can only let one team in at a time. Each team will snag a copy of puzzle from the picture frame. GC must replace puzzle after each team leaves.
