Yesterday we had another productive Doctor When meeting...AND cake was served. Allen, Dan, Dwight, Erik, Melissa, Sean, Trisha, and Wei-Hwa attended.

RECRUITING

Allen expressed his opinion that with the recent additions to the team we have sufficient depth and skill of puzzle authors and testers. There was general agreement.

Allen, Dan, and Sean are taking active steps to network within the theater community as a step towards recruiting a technical director.

Allen expressed his opinion that it *may* turn out we need to add some expertise in the graphic design and video production areas. No decisions need to be made about this in the near future.

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES

Both Allen and Wei-Hwa have created draft biographies for the characters. Allen's is at

and Wei-Hwa's is at the same link, but just roll back the history to see it. Everyone should review these for next session where we'll have a discussion to come up with a shared vision of who our characters are.

SCRIPT

Over the next week Allen will revise the script to include the changes agreed to last session. This won't be the last version. But it will communicate enough of our shared vision that we'll ask the entire far-flung team to read it now to inspire their contributions.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Allen asked the group if they thought it might be fun/a good idea to try to get a reporter to do a story about the development of our Game. The consensus was no.

SPONSORSHIP

Allen brought up the possibility that we might try to get corporate sponsorship in order to expand our budget. The general consensus was that none of us really knew how to even attempt that and that it was likely to be more trouble than it was worth.

VIRTUAL LOCATION SCOUTING

It was agreed that the Act I locations should be in the San Francisco area and that the Act II locations should be coastal, peninsula, and/or south bay. As we do location scouting we should find places that work with the time of day that each Act will occur in: daytime for Act and nighttime for Act II.

PLAYTESTING

We playtested Dwight's latest version of his choose-your-own-path adventure book puzzle and Erik's prototype of his calibration/movie clip/Forrest Gump puzzle.

As always, please respond with any corrections, revisions, amplifications, etc. on my notes.
