I visited on 11/15. Place looks very good. Main gallery has 5,000+ square feet. Plus lots of side rooms. And several rooms upstairs including dance studio and ceramics lab. There is a pay lot across the street. Very good freeway access. They have wifi available, as well as a good number of risers, chairs, folding tables, movable walls, computer projector, screen, etc.

Mary Molly has called back since and confirmed that they are willing to host at the non-profit rate of $500 per day...but additional labor costs can even double that. However, weekends are filling up fast in April-June, 2011.

My quick assessment is that this would be an excellent location. We should rent the theater section. We can use the theater seating area for the lab and then block off the stage area to serve as the science fair set. This would make an excellent and easy transition when the players travel back in time.

12/14/10 Ed priced it out at $5,000 for the weekend. This is so far over our target range that I didn't bother engaging in negotiations and counter offers.

Spoke with Justin...actually we need to speak with Mary Molly Mulaney, ext. 105.

Mary wrote back and is interested. I filled out initial application form.

Mary Molly has called back since and confirmed that they are willing to host at the non-profit rate of $500 per day...but additional labor costs can even double that. However, weekends are filling up fast in April-June, 2011.
